Some members of the Myanmar media and professionals from various other sectors have supported a working group to innovate Healthcare (especially young mothers and children) in Myanmar with digital means. By doing this, we want to provide solutions to the challenges in child care in Myanmar and the difficulties recently caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and the military coup. DEM remarks and thankful for some of our Honorable members and Contributors.
Ye Min
He was a trained video journalist and well-experienced in the broadcast industry in Myanmar, he has worked as a Television Producer, Technical Producer, and Freelance broadcast engineer since 2005. He was born and raised in Kani township, Sagaing, Myanmar. He is so much into the creative arts & works and continuously learning all about new tech. He plays the most important role in Doh Eain Mat.
Khin Soe Oo
Her name is Khin Soe Oo. She is a medical Scientist, currently working at Western Diagnostic Pathology laboratory. She lives in Perth and graduated from Murdoch University with Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences with minor in Forensic Pathology. She is born Buddhist and she has a multicultural background which includes Burmese, Chinese and both ethic Karen. She’s currently living in Western Australia with her family.
Benjamin
Benjamin also known as Min Kha by his pen name, presently resides in Yangon, Myanmar with his wife Nan Mon Htwe, and two children. He is currently operating an English language school named Tess Myanmar. He has also been managing some other businesses, such as general consultancy services, translating and publishing services. He is passionate about public talk and reading books. He is from Chin, Myanmar, and is a devoted Christian. He is also one of the founding members of Doh Eain Mat.
Khin Sandar Kyaw
Khin Sandar Kyaw who lives in Yangon, Myanmar, is a young artist. She is passionate and motivated to contribute to child development & art. She drives to promote local arts and crafts. She’s going to initiate “Doh School” (Art & Foreign languages Sphere) in the future. She is Mon- Kayin -Myanmar -Chinese and she is affectionate in Buddhism.
Nang Tharaphu Tint
Her name is Nang Tharaphu Tint, she is a founder of a civil society organization that is actively contributing to charity, and the development of the agriculture, economic, and social sectors especially in the Danu ethnic community. She manages the Green Pindaya company which produces organic tea from Shan State Myanmar. She is also one of the founding members of Doh Eain Mat.
Wor Mi Thi
Wor Mi Thi, a medical doctor who is working as a public health professional and a researcher. She got her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Myanmar in 2014 and later graduated a Master of Public Health in 2023 from Thailand. She is a Lisu from Kachin State, Myanmar. She is dedicated to sharing her vast medical and research knowledge with the public, striving to improve health outcomes in her community.
Aye Thidar Kyaw
Aye Thidar Kyaw is a freelance media consultant for INGOs. She has 14 years’ experience as a media worker and content producer in media and development industry. With the support of academic experience from the Media and International Development Course (MA), Aye is focusing on media representation and storytelling practices in global humanitarian activities.
